Located in the Lovely Emiliga-Romagna Wine Region

Surrounded by unspoiled nature, the Casa Benna Winery is located among the gentle hills of Piacenza in a mesmerizing town – Castell’Arquato, in the Emilia region of Italy. Since 2011, the winery is a member of the FIVI Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers.

Winemaking with Love and Dedication at Casa Benna

Over the years, the Molinari family has been managing the administration of the Casa Benna estate. At first, the family was doing the winemaking business in Lugagnano, and in 1916, Pietro Molinari, great-grandfather of the current owner, purchased the Casa Benna farm and shifted the headquarters of the winery to Castell’Arquato. All the generations of the Molinari family have worked with great passion and dedication and expanded the winemaking business. In 1937, the company won a silver medal at a festival of Piacentini wines.

Highlighting the Biodiversity of the Vineyards

In 2012, Casa Benna became a part of Campagna Amica Foundation, a direct seller of Colli Piacentini DOC and newly created Gutturnio DOC wines. Casa Benna has dedicated 11 hectares to vineyards to produce high-quality grapes. With the utmost attention to the land and biodiversity, the owner grows a wide array of vines. Along with fruity Barbera and Bonarda, the owner cultivates top-class Malvasia and Ortrugo and deliver rich-quality Piacenza wines. At the time of harvest season, the staff collects grapes manually, and only the best bunches are moved to the cellar for the wine production. T The types of wines Casa Benna Winery produces are elegant, yet traditional red and white wines, in combination with delicious, crisp sparkling wines.

We were pleasantly surprised

It was nice. The owner explained it well and was very friendly. Wines were very tasty. This was true for all cantinas we visited through your website. We learned a lot about the wine making process and grapes. Casa Benna and Cantina Ortenzi had a very beautiful location and the best food to accompany the wine on top of it. I can recommend you to advertise this on your website. We were pleasantly surprised when we visited them and enjoyed the rest of our day exploring the village or area. About winetourism: you did a great job, all of you. You were very helpful, fast with the bookings and perfect in your communication. Thank you for it. You made our Italy trip all about Italy by accommodating us this way!
