The Musée Du Vin – Maison Brotte is an extraordinary wine museum in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. From its establishment in 1931, Maison Brotte has been a family business that has had a remarkable history. With 90 years of experience in winemaking and five generations of winemakers in business, it is noted in history as one of the pioneers in the Rhone Valley appellations. It is one of the first wineries to honor the Rhone Valley wines that are crafted with love and dedication for high-quality, elegant, and vintage wines.

A Delightful Sight for Wine Lovers

Founded by Jeanne Brotte in 1972, the museum is a homage to the wine producers of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the Rhône Valley. The museum exhibits an impressive collection of rare wine-growing and wine-making tools such as Foudres (tuns), presses, and a magnificent grape treading device. All these rare objects date back to the 14th and 15th centuries that are and attest to the history of wine producers of Rhone Valley. The Brotte Wine Museum is divided into five different spaces, all decorated with a different theme and ambiance to showcase the various stages of the winemaking process, from cultivation to the finished product.
