Founder Simone Maggioni draws inspiration from his grandfather Gino’s entrepreneurial spirit and Tuscany’s rich heritage to bring restless improvement to winemaking through dynamic professionalism and a restless hunger for excellence.

The Vineyards of La Pace

The La Pace vineyard was planted in 2011. It stretches over 5.5 hectares of soft slopes on the Colline Metallifere of Massa Marittima, in a corner of untouched pastoral landscape dotted with Mediterranean scrub and olive trees, approximately 70 m above sea level and 10 km from the gorgeous Gulf of Follonica. Located inside a protected microclimate valley endowed with ideal exposure and day-night temperature variation, it benefits from a mixed chalk and clay soil and a hot-summer Mediterranean climate. The vineyard is composed of varietals of international caliber that transcend borders and conventions: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, and Viognier.
Podere La Pace is a certified organic farm both in the vineyard and in the winery. Its experts tend lovingly to every single vine and bottle, closely abiding by the strictest quality standards without compromise. All wines are organic and aged in French barriques. Annual production is limited to around 30,000 bottles.
