CANCELLATION AND REFUND TERMS

1.1 The guest reserves the right to cancel the booking up to 48 hours ahead of the starting time of the booked experience. In this case, the guest will be reimbursed the full cost of their experience to the credit card used to make the original booking. Similarly, a guest can modify the content of the booking (change experience, date, number of people, etc.) up to 48 hours ahead of the starting time of the booked experience. The modified booking will in practice be treated as a new booking, meaning it will be subject to availability. If the modified booking is not available at the wine experience provider, the guest will be notified and can choose to keep the original booking, or to cancel the booking entirely, in which case the total cost of the experience will be reimbursed. If a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the starting time of the booked experience, the guest is not entitled to a reimbursement of the costs for the booking.

1.2 If a booking is made by the guest and is confirmed by the wine experience provider inside of 48 hours, the cancellation policy is applied without exception, meaning the guest is not entitled to a refund if they cancel a booking made inside of 48 hours.

1.3 The cancellation policy applies regardless . We recommend our guests to always check with their travel insurance provider or other insurance forms to see what these policies cover.

1.4 In exceptional cases, a wine experience provider may need to cancel a booking made by the guest due to weather, sickness, shortage of staff, or other reasons. In these cases, the WineTourism.com team will coordinate with the wine experience provider and will ask the visitor if they are willing to accept another time for a visit to the winery/guide. Should the guest choose not to accept this new experience, the guest will be reimbursed for the price of the original booking. 

1.5 All booking changes or cancellation requests must be sent by the visitor via email to booking@winetourism.com, clearly indicating the order ID number.

1.6 Reservations on WineTourism.com are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email.


1.7 Wine Experience prices are subject to wine experience providers' responsibility and might get updated at any given time. A reservation might suffer price changes and visitors are entitled to the right to cancel their reservations within cancellation policy terms if not in agreement with updated prices proposed by the wine experience provider.

1.8 Unless otherwise explicitly stated, with respect of any purchase you may make on the Website, WineTourism.com acts as an agent or reseller of the experiences offered by wine experience providers on the website. WineTourism.com strives for all experience descriptions, prices and other information to be as accurate as possible, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the individual wine experience providers to faithfully and accurately present and update their experiences and profile. Any issues regarding the content and quality of the wine experience are the responsibility of the wine experience provider.
