Finest Winery in Chianti Classico

The winery is located in the hills of the prestigious Chianti landscape. It extends for 165 hectares and consists of two separate properties. The first, in the municipality of Poggibonsi, with offices, the cellar, and a good part of the vineyards. The other, in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti, includes the agritourism complex and the remaining 25% of the vineyards. The Chianti Classico area, which stretches between Florence and Siena, has for the most part kept its physiognomy intact.

Quality and Sustainability

The San Fabiano Calcinaia started its organic journey from the very beginning and is certified since 2009 that involves the entire production phase to combine with quality and sustainability. The wonderful and unique aging cellar is present underground that was recently remodeled, is a breathtaking experience for visitors. From the terrace above it, visitors can enjoy the barrels and their work waiting patiently to be bottled.

The Chianti Classico area is particularly suitable for the production of fine wines. They produce spectacular Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot with the special combination of soil, sun, temperature management. Chianti Classico wine is the pride of the winery. As for now, they produce Chianti Classico Annata Docg , Chianti Classico Gran Selezione “Cellole” Docg , Chianti “Famalgallo” Docg , Supertuscan Cerviolo Rosso Igt , Cabernet Sauvignon Igt , Casa Boschino Igt , Cerviolo Bianco Igt , a small production of Vin Santo del Chianti Classico and Grappa del Chianti Classico “Cellole”. They also produce fragnant Extra virgin Olive oil which is also organic.
