Bodega Los Toneles is a beautifully renovated winery in Mendoza, Argentina, which was initially founded by the Armando family in 1922. Eighty years later, in 2002, the winery was purchased by the Millán family, who resurrected the estate's vintage spirit by combining it with a modern approach and significant investment to bring it back to its former grandeur. Declared as a Cultural Heritage site of Mendoza, its modern architecture, which is influenced by the Industrial Revolution, symbolizes the country's attempt to strike the perfect balance between technology and tradition.

The vineyards of Bodega Toneles are spread over the province, despite the winery being located within Mendoza's city. Even with Mendoza's desert-like climate, the Andes' snowmelt provides plenty of fresh water for irrigation, and the significant day-to-night temperature change amplifies the fragrances, freshness, and colors of the grapes. Along with the vineyards' calcareous and sandy soils, the favorable weather conditions and man’s labor have worked together to create strong wines with distinctive profiles that reflect their terroir.

To meet the demands of today's marketplace, Bodega Los Toneles has invested in the latest technology. Among the facilities are epoxy-coated cement pools, stainless steel tanks, concrete and Bordeaux vessels, fermentation eggs, and oak barrels for aging high-end wines. Bodega Toneles between its warm walls and high ceilings combines the best features of traditional traditions, such as hand-harvesting grapes manually at their peak of maturity, with the technology and equipment available at the winery.
