Wine tasting and tour at Shumi Winery

The Shumi winery and estate invite visitors for the tour and wine tasting experience which is available in three different languages (English, Georgian and Russian. The professional guides at Shumi winery are ready to welcome guests and introduce them to the history of winemaking in Georgia, particularly the unique Qvevri method of making Georgian wines. The wines that are available for tasting at Shumi include the Qvevri Sparkling wine and Zigu which is a drink made using more than 300 varieties of grapes. Besides wine tasting, guests are welcome to explore the Shumi wine museum and the wine shop that showcases a number of exclusive Shumi products such as the famous Genesis wine that is made from the grapes of a 300-year-old vine. The estate also has a number of gastronomic zones with restaurants, cafes, and tasting areas, most of which are outdoors in the beautiful scenery.
