I'm Simon and my wife, Kerry, we are the team behind Coonawarra Experiences. We started visiting Coonawarra and the greater Limestone Coast coming over from inner city Melbourne well over ten years ago having a keen interest in the wines of the region. We quickly fell in love with the town, the people and of course the stunning wines that Coonawarra has to offer.
We saw that there was a gap in the market for quality tailored touring experiences and wanted to start a business that would fulfil this need. Neither of us had any experience in tourism, but we did have strong backgrounds in corporate management, sales, and processes that really made a difference to starting and building a business from the ground up.
In August of 2017, Coonawarra Experiences was born and we have now offer not only bespoke wine tours, but also, multi day options in multi regions across the Limestone Coast. We partner with amazing local businesses that include iconic wineries, stunning accommodation, family-owned bespoke agriculture tours, and of course, fantastic dining venues. We've been able to highlight the region to both domestic and international visitors from around the world that didn't have the option of having a handcrafted journey of the Limestone Coast previously.
