In the high altitude, cool temperature Orange region of New South Wales, Printhie Wines, owned by the Swift family, is a 5-star Halliday winery and a member of the Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia Group. The SWIFT sparkling collection, which is widely regarded as one of Australia's best, is handcrafted by Printhie. It was founded in 1996 when the first vineyard was planted on the Printhie property owned by the Swift family. The winery was added in 2004 to create celebrated Printhie wines.

Printhie vineyards

Printhie has four vineyard plots that were developed to fit the needs of different varietals, assuring the production of high-quality fruit. Every site was chosen with care to capture the terroir of the Orange cool climate region. Printhie and Phalaris vineyards are planted with Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Gris on elevated rolling hills, facing northeast. The Millwood and Wattleview vineyards are situated at an elevation of around 1000m above sea level and are renowned for producing premium Chardonnays.

Trophy Winning Sparkling Wine

Swift is a traditional method sparkling brand made from the highest vineyards in NSW that have won awards internationally at the London Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships - crowned Best Australian Sparkling in 2022. Before being released, each bottle of Swift Sparkling is matured to perfection spending at least five years, and sometimes even ten on lees. Printhie’s effort, perseverance, and dedication to producing exquisite sparkling wines have been recognized worldwide and are rewarded with over 100 awards and numerous trophies.
