Aneto Wine Cellar

The current winery is located in the old cellar of the Aneto estate. A place where all the work downstream of the vineyard is concentrated. With the reception of grapes, vinification and storage in the old warehouse recovered. The new wing is constructed to create warehouse spaces for bottles/boxes, a barrel stage room, and a tasting room for visitors.

Vineyards of the Winery

The winery has 3 different plots dedicated to the production of particular grapes. The white grape vineyards, a transition region for green wines, with a Mediterranean- Atlantic climate whose soil is a mixture of granite and shale. The varieties are: Semillon, Verdelho, Viosinho, Gouveio, Cerceal, Encruzado and Alvarinho. The red grape vineyards are planted on the site of Douro riverbank with a Mediterranean climate and schistous soils with outcrops of clay. The planted varieties are: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Souzão. The Pinot Noir vines are planted at an altitude of 450 meters, in an Atlantic climate with granite soils with traces of limestone.
