Turra Wines in the Vinho Verde wine region was established by the will and hard work of two young men. They had generational knowledge in winemaking and vineyards and decided to launch their own brand after an experience of 30 years producing wines. From the design of the brand to the wines, everything is done to provide the customers with an unforgettable and unique experience that is wanted more and more.

The winery is included in a 15-hectare property where they also have a cellar and a guest house for a peaceful time combined with a nice wine for guests

Turra winery gets its grapes from the Basto region, which is one of the best areas of Vinho Verde for wine production. The high altitude of the region protects it from cold winds. The microclimate is dry in summer and humid in winter that is ideal for the cultivation of vines. The vines are handles carefully so that the quality of wines is high. A lot of care and treatment is given to the vines, and harvesting takes place manually.

Wines reflecting the Terroir

The typical grape varieties here are Azal, Arinto, Alvarinho, and Vinhão. The best grapes are handpicked and processed to make their red and white wines. Vinification and ageing of wines take place in the cellar. Turra winery has citrus, bright color, and fruity aroma and a rich, fresh flavor. An effort is made to transmit the quality of the grapes into the wine, and the wines truly reflect the quality of grapes and the terroir of the region.
