The Wein+Gut Oster is a family-run winery in the Moselle wine region in Germany. The vineyards are situated on the steepest slopes with turns and curves. Moselle wines are known for their light taste, fruity notes, and delicate bouquet. They are also very versatile in terms of food pairings with a wide range including red meats, white meats, seafood, poultry as well as desserts.

The Moselle Wine Region

The Moselle wine region is one of the most-visited wine regions in Germany. It is situated on the river Moselle, which divides Luxembourg and Germany. The Moselle wine region has a long and distinguished history that starts with Roman times when it was called “Mosella”. The soil conditions in the Moselle wine region of Germany are excellent for producing high-quality wine. The region's clay soil, which is considered to be a type of limestone, is ideal for grape growing. The soil structure is loose and well drained with an abundance of nutrients making it perfect for viticulture

The Wein+Gut Oster team members are dedicated to producing wines naturally. Their wines are free of harmful chemicals as they do not add any additives during the manufacturing of wines. The purpose of growing grapes organically and creating wines naturally is to capture the essence and character of the land of Moselle.
