Fun run.Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all facets of their wine productions. Well versed in anglais. Very amiable.
A Beautiful TourWe arrived at the Chateau du Taillan and were greeted by Naomi who took us on the tour of the 16th century building, the Blanche Dame room, the production area with the family's wine collection, and then to the tasting. She answered questions and was very interested in our opinions. The grounds were beautiful and the wine was delicious! It was a lovely drive and very close to Bordeaux.
Left a touch unimpressedWe hoped for a decent red, but of those tasted, albeit gold standard/rated, had little complexity, and ere somewhat woody. The guide was enthusiastic, and pleasant, but at times lost for words to explain things. The picnic was very good, and the best feature of the tour.
