The Winery
Mas Comtal is an emblematic winery in Penedès dedicated to the organic cultivation of its own vineyards and the history of a family linked to the cultivation of the vineyard since 1355. A small wine estate with 40 hectares of organically grown vineyards, located in the easternmost part of Penedès, at the foot of Garraf. Geographically it is located at a height of 350 meters above sea level, in soils of Quaternary origin based on sand, silt and clay. It has very calcareous soils of a medium type and characterized by having a great permeability to water.
