The Southernmost Vineyard on the European Continent in Andalusia

Vision of Nilva Enoturismo

Manilva is a coastal town in Malaga, in the heart of the Western Costa del Sol, surrounded by historic Moscatel de Alejandría vineyards that are in serious danger of disappearing due to urban pressure and the lack of profitability of the crop. With our project we want to avoid the destruction of this natural and landscape heritage, producing high quality wines and showing our visitors the richness of this unique land.

Manilva Vineyards

The vineyards of Manilva are situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Ronda, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The combination of mild winters, long hours of sunlight, and cooling sea breezes creates an ideal environment for grape cultivation. The region primarily focuses on the production of dry white wines, utilizing grape varieties such as Moscatel de Alejandría (Muscat of Alexandria), Pedro Ximénez, and Chardonnay.

Tourism in Manilva

In addition to wine production, Manilva is also known for its picturesque landscapes, charming villages, and beautiful beaches. The region offers a delightful blend of vineyards, olive groves, and almond orchards, creating a scenic backdrop for visitors. For wine enthusiasts, a visit to Manilva provides an opportunity to explore its vineyards, learn about the winemaking process, and taste the unique wines produced in this southernmost vineyard of the European continent.
